Earl Grey Cafe occupies a cozy corner inside the Rampart Casino on Las Vegas’s north side, blending casual dining with a laid-back café atmosphere. This spot serves up a mix of comfort food classics alongside a variety of breakfast options, making it a convenient go-to for guests staying at the resort or locals nearby looking for familiar flavors without the usual hustle of the Strip.

The interior leans toward relaxed and unpretentious, with enough space for solo diners, couples, or small groups to settle in comfortably. While the casino foot traffic adds a steady background buzz, the vibe feels more like a neighborhood breakfast-and-lunch joint than a bustling casino restaurant. Because the kitchen handles a broad menu—from build-your-own burgers and omelets to fish n’ chips and hearty salads—it’s a spot capable of catering to different meal preferences throughout the day.

Breakfast here tends to be a highlight, with generous portions such as the Big Country Breakfast or the Deuces Wild variety that locals and visitors alike lean toward. Coffee and brunch beverages, including an Arnold Palmer or Bloody Mary, round out the experience when you want something casual but filling. Snacks and starters like fried calamari rings and onion rings make it easy to share or hold back hunger between casino visits.

Service generally comes with a friendly, approachable tone, fitting the no-frills environment. There can be noticeable waits, especially during peak morning hours or busy casino times, so visitors might plan accordingly if they’re on a schedule. The kitchen’s focus on straightforward, well-prepared dishes means nothing is meant to surprise, but delivers what the menu promises.

Price points are reasonable for the location, and the menu’s variety—ranging from fresh salads and club sandwiches to seasonal special dinners like a Christmas prime rib—offers options for both casual lunches and more substantial dinners without needing to leave the resort. Desserts such as the chocolate caramel layer cake provide a sweet, familiar finish to the meal.

Best times to visit are weekday mornings or early afternoons, when the crowd is lighter and the kitchen moves faster. Regulars often come here for relaxed breakfast or mid-day meals without fuss, making it a solid choice when you want dependable food without venturing far from the casino.

In essence, Earl Grey Cafe suits those who appreciate classic American diner-style offerings within a quiet casino setting—ideal for visitors prioritizing convenience and comfort over culinary adventure, while locals can enjoy it as a steady, informal spot for everyday dining needs.

The burger with french fries was really good and cooked as ordered. There are also delicious desserts like the chocolate caramel layer cake. The service was very friendly, but it often takes quite a long time before the order is taken or the food is served.

Early Grey Cafe is located inside the Rampart Casino. The service is awesome and the food is decent with very reasonably pricing. Our pics will show the turkey dinner for $15.99 which includes a soup or salad ... as you can see it was HUGE and tasted good with all white turkey meat. We also ordered the $29.95 Christmas 3 course prime rib dinner ... prime rib was ok and the cute Yule Log dessert was ok.

This was just about my only lunch and subsequently supper option without venturing out of the resort so i ate here. Nothing bad to say - they serve typical breakfast (all day long), your typical salad, burger, sandwich menu… nothing is bad but for my taste - not 5 star food. my crispy chicken sandwich was a bit Too crispy inside out… i also had cob salad which is large and fresh and will fill you up. staff is pleasant and tries hard so they get 5 stars. cafe is right next to the casino with glass walls so you can see all the "action" overall - if you want a quick and inexpensive bite - this is it. if you want a more upscale meal and likely tastier - pick a different spot.
